Biography

Evgeny’s grandfather, Petrov Viktor Aleksandrovich (mother's father), participated in the Great Patriotic War. Was a native of St. Petersburg. Great-grandfather of Evgeny, Timofey Nikonovich Azarov, served in the 22nd Siberian Rifle Regiment during the First World War, and was wounded in August 1915.

Every summer from 1995 to 2000, Evgeny lived with his grandparents (mother's parents) in the city of Buguruslan, Orenburg region. It was his mother and grandmother, according to the entrepreneur, who taught him strict working discipline.

From the very childhood Evgeny had a passion for science and reading. He names Irvin Yalom as one of his favorite authors. To broaden his horizons Evgeny read technical and historical literature.

In 1987−2012 Evgeny Azarov lived in the republican center — the city of Abakan, where he graduated from high school No. 11 and Khakass State University. N.F. Katanov, majoring in jurisprudence.

In 2001 being an 8th grade student, he began publishing the youth newspaper Generation.RU. Evgeny was an editor there.

In 2003 a casting was held for the want-to-be-a-broadcaster of the Yenisei Radio. Evgeny successfully passed through this contest and worked there as a broadcaster until 2008.

In 2008 he received the Popov Prize for his contribution to the development of radio broadcasting. In the same year, he became the broadcaster on Radio Siberia.

After his postgraduate studies in 2012 he lectures at Russian and foreign universities.

Since 2014, he has been engaged in entrepreneurial activities. Develops business in the field of electrical lighting. Collects engravings and lithographs.
